This is getting to the point where I almost need to create a template for these recaps and just fill in the blanks. Once more the Kings face a team missing it's best player (I "joked" pre-game that without Nene we'd lose by 30), and end up getting blown out. No one person on the Nuggets stood out, although Al Harrington led Denver with 15 points. It was an ultimate team effort by them, and they killed the Kings in transition (31 fast break points) and in the paint (62 points in the paint). The Nuggets had 31 assists on 46 made baskets, while the Kings had yet another game with more turnovers (16) than assists (12).
DeMarcus Cousins had his best game of the season by far for the Kings, scoring 26 points on 9-12 shooting in just 25 minutes while also playing decently on the defensive end. About the only thing he didn't do well was rebound (only 3 rebounds) and the team as a whole was killed on the boards by Denver (49 to 37). This might be explained by the fact that Denver scored 60.5% of their shots while the Kings managed a paltry 32.6%. Aside from Cousins, Marcus Thornton was the only one able to get anything going, scoring 23 on 8-20 shooting. Take those two players away, and the Kings only shot 13 of 60 or 21.6%. Let that sink in for a moment.
Tyreke Evans only played 23 minutes and missed most of the 2nd half after throwing up during halftime, likely because he watched some first half highlights (H/T Heuristic Lineup).

This team looks lost out there. They give up way too easily and it just seems like they aren't putting in maximum effort. Even when Denver emptied out their bench at the end of the game, they continued to build up their lead and play with energy. You could say the Kings are suffering from tired legs, playing their 4th game in 5 nights, and while I believe that's an issue for some (particularly the rookies who really struggled with their shot tonight), I think the bigger issue is that the team at large isn't putting forth 100% effort, and that is a major problem.
Paul Westphal is a good person. I've met him a few times and I've come away with good impressions. But as of now, I don't think he is the coach this team needs or wants. The team needs a breath of fresh air, a new outlook, and Westphal is not bringing it. I don't know how successful an interim coach like Keith Smart or even a new hire (which rarely happens mid-season) can be, particularly with the compressed season and little practice time, but at this point, I think you have to try.
The start to this season has been more frustrating to me than any season in recent memory. We weren't supposed to be this bad. I don't think most fans thought we'd be contenders or even necessarily in the playoff hunt, but at least be competitive night in and night out. Especially after the craziness of last season and the relocation issue, and then the months of no basketball due to the lockout, I, as well as many other fans, were so pumped up for the Kings to be returning to Sacramento and to hopefully begin their rise to relevance once more. Instead it looks like our annual tradition of getting screwed in the lottery will continue for the foreseeable future.

This is some tragic comedy we are living in as Kings fan. It's an absurd situation.
Last night I was ready to trade DMC. I was angry.
I have had a change of heart, however. (Shout out to omikron)
DMC needs to stay.
It’s all about Westphal right now. He has to go, IMMEDIATELY.
We will never get to see the potentials of any of our players reached until we replace the coach.
Ichiban - January 4, 2012
I think your points were ever more clear with tonight's game.
DMC played well. Was clearly not the cancer PW would like everyone to believe. What was left was a reflection on the Coach.

Westphal is obviously done now
I feel bad for him, but it’s time. I was thinking they could just let Smart take over now, but since there never was really a training camp – why not just spend on a big time coach now. Jeff Van Gundy seems like he would be a great teacher for these young guys. Don’t see Jerry Sloan coming out of retirement for this mess, which is worse than the one that made him retire.

Ichiban - January 4, 2012
Wow, amazed
that so many still think the poor play is the coach’s fault. Not getting back on D, turnovers and missed shots. DMC’s poor play was coaches fault before the game started but he played well so…. How does canning a coach and having an interim coach help?

Allbenji - January 4, 2012 via mobile
I think if the Kings had a real offensive gameplan
Turnovers would decrease, an they would actually get better shots, causing the FG% to go up. This would also help cut down on the amount of times they have to get back on D.
X_47 - January 4, 2012
First time poster here
I think a new coach would definitely help. I understand that the coach doesn’t stop them from playing defense, or turnovers, but it would be nice to see a coach actually hold these players accountable. What does he say when he takes timeouts? Hes obviously not motivating anyone to play better. Also i realize he can’t pass the ball himself, but if there is any type of offense in place he doesn’t seem to upset when his players don’t run it. We need someone that actually has a play book. All these players had a more advanced offense in college.

I’ve never, ever seen a team that can’t get some sort of offensive flow going, ever. And when a team goes on a run, is impossible to stop. I dread our rematch against LA at Staples….and I was thinking of going to that that game :(.
HarveySpecter - January 4, 2012
Terrible
It is bad, but not terrible to be 2 and 4 considering last year’s record of the teams we played, but to loose so badly is awful. I have not checked the actual statistical record, but Evans is not playing as well as he played when he was healthy last year and Thornton is not playing as well as he played with the Kings last year. My guess is that no other player is playing as well as they played last year except maybe Jason Thompson.
Westphal has never come close to having the winning record Theus had, but the local radio and newspaper columnists are not commenting negatively on Westphal.
I hate to do this after only 6 games, but if the Kings do not improve in the next ten games, Westphal has to go right away. I don’t care who takes over. I want something better. The Kings have too much talent to have this offensive incompetence.

HarveySpecter - January 4, 2012
Well, we were better last year, is that better?
Bill2 - January 4, 2012
Equally frustrated
But can a new coach actually teach them how to hit all those open shots they missed? If the Kings fire Westphal, they lose him as an excuse for their failure on the court. They’re not ready for that grenade.
Docile Ocelot - January 4, 2012
Trade

id rather go through this than go through the Anaheim BS again. I honestly think this team is missing a table setter. But I still think this team will do some things this year.

I still remember either Hollinger or chad ford say something like
Tyreke will look like a better pick the 1st 2 years, because he’s NBA ready, but the Kings will regret it in 3 years…..or something like that

well
in a nutshell, we suck. We have no interior defense. I like chuck hayes, but i really dont understand the signing. I would rather have sammy. I dont understand why we just didnt slightly overpay for him. He only signed a 7 million per with the rockets. we finished last year strong. We knew the combo of dmc and dally worked. you can tell me we couldn’t of offered sammy 2 years ay 10 million per and he wouldn’t have taken it. What would you rather have sammy or hayes and outlaw. And salmons blows my fucking mind. I really have no idea why they made that trade,

This is probably why he wanted out so badly
omikron - January 4, 2012
maybe Kahns not an idiot afterall
sacman - January 4, 2012
Right?
Depressing…
omikron - January 4, 2012
It's official
betweentheeyes - January 4, 2012
K, I'm sorry for being dumb, but I have to ask
Who is Kahn? Always see it/him referred to but I have no idea what you guys are talking about ha
LLcoolRay - January 4, 2012
The GM for the Timberwolves
look him up on youtube, he is a great person to watch try to communicate
prowseinthehouse - January 4, 2012
Thank you sir
LLcoolRay - January 4, 2012
maybe we shouldn't be smug assholes
not to you sacman, just a general comment
wallywagon11 - January 5, 2012
What do we have to be smug about?
Aykis16 - January 5, 2012
sorry should have put past tense
wallywagon11 - January 5, 2012
I still want to see another 15-20 games
I’m not ready to give up on this group yet.
RJinFairOaks - January 4, 2012
If nothing changes you'd be watching another 15-20 games of what we've seen in games 2-7
Sadly, they’ve already given up. Make changes now, while the season is still young.
dampania - January 4, 2012
Who is giving up?
We all have each other to commiserate with, I mean misery loves company right? I’m going to the game tomorrow! I best medicate myself through and through.
Gravymonkey - January 4, 2012
I think they nut up and get a win tomorrow
otis29 - January 4, 2012
I think they have to
Because the teams they play in the next couple weeks are not pushovers.
Aykis16 - January 4, 2012
The Kings are the pushovers, sadly enough.
DiegoKing - January 4, 2012
about tickets
i have season tickets sec 210 row g aisle seat. I sell the games I cant go to for $28 for both tickets. Sundays game against orlando is available. Let me know. John112478@msn.com
sacman - January 4, 2012
I'm glad I went to the store at halftime
and I only have a mild headache instead of the full on migraine I normally get from watching the entire game
prowseinthehouse - January 4, 2012
Is it fair to ask the question now
Has Paul Westphal lost the team?
otis29 - January 4, 2012
Is it fair to ask...
Did he ever have the team?
Gravymonkey - January 4, 2012
I think one of the positives for Westphal
Is the effort the team has been giving him, even while playing poorly.
otis29 - January 4, 2012
I didn't see much effort tonight
Aykis16 - January 4, 2012
Sarchasm.
iashwash - January 5, 2012
For another pick me up, I found this one funny
A Night At The Arco - January 4, 2012
HAHAHA!!!
recd
Ichiban - January 4, 2012

The trick is not just saying “Rec’d” :)

LMFAO
swoosh91 - January 4, 2012
Awesome
DiegoKing - January 4, 2012
At least we have Whiteside...so why not play the dude strategically (ha!) in spots just to swat
balls and snare rebounds? This team lacks inside presence among its other deficits. But alas we must also consider that the basketball gods are very angry with us. We have done something to create this bad JuJu. A sacrificial offering is the only thing that will placate them and change the mojo. Any suggestions?
Natomaser - January 4, 2012
He's in the D-League.
Same with Honeycutt. They should both be there, getting actual playing time.
Aykis16 - January 4, 2012
Maybe this can make us feel better?
Ladies. Lots of them.
HarveySpecter - January 4, 2012
Needz moar Diogu!
otis29 - January 4, 2012
But Diogu gets...
All the women.

We’re going to need one Kings dancer for each of us. From the auditions, otherwise there won’t be enough to go around.
HarveySpecter - January 4, 2012
It seems to me
That this roster needs a wake up call, and a coaching change will help that. None of these players have grown or become better in their time with this awful coach. The fact that they haven’t been competitive in these losses show that this team isn’t being coached. I’m sorry if we were to be competitive and lose every game I’d have a better taste in my mouth than I do now. No tyreke reference intended
Black&Purple4Ever - January 4, 2012
fire westphal.
trade cousins. i really thought we were going to be more competitive than this…..
Nickcarmondog - January 4, 2012
Yes, trade our best player, that will show the team!
omikron - January 4, 2012
Maybe best potential
Thortons been our best player which is a dissapointment.
SharkKings49 - January 4, 2012
Not our best player IMO
Get Jimmered - January 4, 2012
Still want to keep Cousins
You don’t trade him in his second year of rookie deal.
dampania - January 4, 2012
I really don't think cousins is the issue
No one on this team is playing for westphal
Black&Purple4Ever - January 4, 2012
Correct.
mavisdory - January 4, 2012 via mobile
I think just need to learn to work as a team
New coach may help

Because he’s in Reno
amiles2233 - January 4, 2012
Might be starting along with Honeycutt by tomorrow
EJ08 - January 4, 2012
Neither one played last night
??
Sacto_J - January 5, 2012
honestly
WTF…happened to the tyreke we saw his rookie year. he doesnt do any of that shit anymore
kranthig - January 4, 2012
Paul Westphal Happened.
HarveySpecter - January 4, 2012
tyreke has lost all confidence he used to have
kranthig - January 4, 2012
That happens
When you have a terrible coach who has no plays that play to the strength of the players. First year he played on skill, it’s the coaches job to help build on that
Black&Purple4Ever - January 4, 2012
The first year might be what put him at a disadvantage
PW gave him free rain to do whatever he wanted, treated him like he was the next Kobe. He wasn’t taught the right way to play from the get go.
dampania - January 4, 2012
At least he was averaging 5 apg
With a worse team, what happened to ball movement if he was let loose his rookie year.
Black&Purple4Ever - January 4, 2012
Pretty sure he's still doing that
with ’Reke.
Sacto_J - January 5, 2012
Not
Saying he should be fired or anything …. But what coaches are available right now? My friend was talking about that earlier and couldn’t think of any.

Dub_TC - January 4, 2012 via Android app
ino
I was just thinking who would even try to coach this team. I feel like trying to replace Westphal with an assistant is almost the same thing
kranthig - January 4, 2012
How about some new blood?
I’ll take anyone on this list!
Winningest College Coaches
Last 5 Years
257-50 John Calipari
248-50 Mike Krzyzewski
245-48 Bill Self
233-64 Roy Williams
229-69 Thad Matta
224-63 Jamie Dixon
221-76 Billy Donovan
221-55 Mark Few
217-71 Jim Calhoun
216-75 Rick Barnes
Dirkula - January 4, 2012
Successful college coach =/= successful NBA coach
But anything is better than Westphal at this point, so I’m on board.
omikron - January 4, 2012
Yeah that doesn't work nearly as much as you might think.
In fact it almost never works out.
ResetSmith - January 4, 2012
Agreed
But being the youngest team in the league gives me hope that a college coach could get through to these guys!
Dirkula - January 4, 2012
Westphal
Was a failure at Pepperdine, as well :/
HarveySpecter - January 4, 2012
Most of those guys won't take the pay cut
section214 - January 4, 2012
Not sure what you're talking about
He still has his handful of dribble moves to elude 4 guys and get to the rim. But as was pointed out yesterday, without proper defense to initiate fast breaks there isn’t much opportunity to utilize his best skill as PW apparently is tired of being chided for the 1-4 flat OR the team isn’t quite sure who its supposed to be run for at this point in time…
Sacto_J - January 5, 2012
In good ol kings fashion..
so are we waiting for austin rivers?
rise_to_mediocrity - January 4, 2012

SPTSJUNKIE - January 5, 2012
Are we the worst team in the league now?
I think we are better then Washington, Cleveland and New Orleans though
tidge18 - January 4, 2012
I think
Theyre better than cleveland, for sure.
Dub_TC - January 4, 2012 via Android app
That would be the Wizards
The Crown Royal Gentleman - January 4, 2012
By that I mean, we are better than the Wizards -- record wise, anyways.
The Crown Royal Gentleman - January 4, 2012
Washington? No.
N.O. maybe but when healthy, it’s tough.
Cleavland…….. God I hope so.
ResetSmith - January 4, 2012
I think the Kings are the worst team in the NBA with the least amount of promise going forward
for the foreseeable future.
DiegoKing - January 4, 2012
Sadly I agree with you on that
Irving is still a rookie, N.O. has new guys like Gordon & Kaman. I hate to say it, but I think we have reached our peak with our lineup right now. That is unless Jimmer and IT will break out to be stars.
tidge18 - January 4, 2012
Don't let the recent play get you that far down
There is still a lot of young talent here, but the team is poorly coached and assembled. I’d still rather have our team over many of the other bottom dwellers.
dampania - January 4, 2012
For some reason or the other the Maloofs are cheap ass bastards,
they won’t fire Westy and shell out some real cheddar to snag a top coach, they’d rather reenact the plot of “Major League” plus stand behind the current loser-of-a-coach, PW. Until they stop shopping at Thrifty’s for head coaches and shit can their current loser-of-a-GM and hire some new blood, I don’t like the Kings chances at success for the foreseeable future. C’mon, Maloofs…you can do it! Stop crapping on the fans.
DiegoKing - January 4, 2012
They don't have the scrilla
If the shell out top dolla for a top flight coach they’re gonna need to spend money on a new GM to actually go out and get some legit talent.
Docile Ocelot - January 4, 2012
Petrie isn't the problem
What can he really do when the Maloofs limit his spending to the min.
SharkKings49 - January 5, 2012
Hopefully by the end of the season I'm singing a different tune.
DiegoKing - January 4, 2012
Don't forget the Lakers
We are better than them. Remember, we kicked their cocky, arrogant arses on opening night :-)
EJ08 - January 4, 2012
Nope.
They had a bad night, and the way Bynum’s playing, we’re lucky not to be 1-6.
HarveySpecter - January 4, 2012
I think we have more talent than a lot of teams. If you play fantasy.
Buy Kings starters before the coaching change
SPTSJUNKIE - January 5, 2012
Keep Paul Westphal !! (away from the Kings)
DiegoKing - January 4, 2012

maybe not fire Cousins. but i think he is major negative piece in the puzzle. BAD CHEMISTRY. they can’t gel.
Nickcarmondog - January 4, 2012
Curious. You posted this after his play last night.
Cousins played one of his best games of the season and was one of the few bright spots in the game last night.

The post game Coach Westphal interview - HIgh point of the game once again!
Crowny - January 4, 2012
I think Paul Westphal is a great coach,
…but a terrible fit for sacramento. he’s more of a veterans coach. i feel like he’s not developing our young players and giving them proper guidance. also, the team just doesn’t play for him anymore. i think regardless of who you are, it’s time to go when your team stops playing for you.
jozy - January 4, 2012
This is exactly what Tyreke's brother posted on his twitter during the game tonight
omikron - January 4, 2012
Do you have a link?

I can’t really decipher twitter though.
ResetSmith - January 4, 2012
Damn
Anybody consider what happens when Westphal gets the ax and the team still sucks?
Docile Ocelot - January 4, 2012
i honestly think we will be better with a new offense/defensive scheme/coach
the problem with westphal is that the offense is basically just running ISOs. i think running an actual offense would benefit every player on this roster, but we aren’t getting that right now. so i think it’s time to get that.
however you might be right that that could take a little while and in the meantime we will still stink, but hopefully we will be moving in the right direction. the current state of the offense does not look like it possesses much potential going forward.
jozy - January 5, 2012
Westphal is just trying to force a scheme that his players are not good at.
It happened in the last couple years for JVG in Houston. JVG’s guards wanted to leak on missed shots and try an uptempo game, but JVG would punish his players for not playing his scheme and that is inevitably why Houston got rid of him.
What makes Adelman’s offensive schemes so successful is he takes his philosophy (Princeton offense) and tailors it to fit his players.
It is like buying a suit straight off the rack vs. getting one to tailored to fit you.
Wonderchild - January 5, 2012
haha i just went back and looked at his twitter page
if you read all his tweets from the past couple of hours he does pretty much say this. i guess that would make sense because the only difference between me and doc is that I’m not the owner of a rap label.

Aykis16 - January 5, 2012
Ya, he also plays with Melo and Stat
Wonderchild - January 5, 2012
This team
has been pieced together with a specific strategy in mind. It is apparent that that strategy has failed.
So my question is are we stuck with a group of players who are not compatible?
Even if we bring in a new coach, is this group doomed to lose because they can’t mesh?
If so, aren’t we looking at another two to three years of rebuilding before we become competitive again?
That’s the great frustration, isn’t it? We thought we would at least be competitive.
Or is there hope with this group and a decent coach?
boredwiththeUSA - January 4, 2012
Even with a new coach this group won't work
The blame doesn’t fall completely on Westphal. Petrie failed to acquire a proven point guard, a quality small forward, and didn’t sign a shotblocker specialist. Petrie needs to be in the chopping block talks as well. (Oh, wait, people still think he should be heralded as some kind of mesiah.)
convoy - January 4, 2012
Agreed
This team is going nowhere as built.
Defense is defense, open shots were missed by the buttload. They’ve clearly quit on PW so logic says they’ll quit again when the sledding gets choppy.
Blow it up.
Docile Ocelot - January 4, 2012
I agree with Convoy, westy deserves blame but not all of it. Petrie made moves but they were sideways moves. What happened to us spending money and trying to build a solid team? And wtf is westphal doing anyway? He just needs to go.
kuhreem - January 4, 2012 via mobile
Don't forget about the players

Docile Ocelot - January 4, 2012

broken_360 - January 4, 2012
Good luck with that
Sincerely. How many coaches do you need to cycle through before you realize the true problem?
Docile Ocelot - January 4, 2012
How many coaches have coached this roster?
Only one. Can’t hurt.
brianspider - January 5, 2012
And if not...a mutiny is certainly justified...wait, aren't we are kinda seeing that anyways?!
The Royal Court is out of order.
convoy - January 4, 2012
I found is amusing that the 2 top scorers tonight did so in ISO going man on man
and not thru some sort of scheme designed by the coaching staff to take advantage of the players strengths.
I think Cuz’s only assisted basket was on the pass from Jimmer at the rim. And, JR made the comment at half time, that Thornton was the only one shooting well and the team should be looking to find him. He did take 20 shots in 33 minutes with 0 assists, but I don’t think anyone has to make a concerted effort to get him his shots. He does fine all by his self.
HighTops - January 4, 2012
is it just me...
Or did the offense have a sense of flow the game Cousins sat out. I may be wrong but he could be the road block on offense IMO
Howard Nevens IV - January 4, 2012 via mobile
i noticed this too
BUT we were playing a hornets team that was lacking their best player. and also we got out rebounded by 20 that game. the hornet’s problem against us was that they just were not making shots. we still gave them plenty of open looks.
jozy - January 4, 2012
Yes
The team seemed to respond in a highly spirited manner.
If you watch the replay, you can clearly see them say: “Get Cousins the f*&% out of here, he’s part of the team cancer.”
Well, at least they said that with their bodies.
convoy - January 5, 2012
Hell, the offense flowed tonight
For the most part. And Cousins played out of his mind IMO. Guys have to make shots and get back on defense. Or at least stop hanging their heads when the game goes to pucker factor 5.
Docile Ocelot - January 5, 2012
Off topic, but did the celtics really offer rondo for cousins?
i would have taken that if i was gp………..
jozy - January 5, 2012
I wouldn't
I’d consider Rondo for Evans over DMC though.
HarveySpecter - January 5, 2012
There's hope for Reke to acquire Rondo's skills and for DMC to mature
No hope for Rondo to reach DMC’s height
'tough as nails' spence - January 5, 2012
On the bright side
I’m always excited for the next kings’ game even though the circumstance
kranthig - January 5, 2012
It's the coach
While our players certainly have flaws to say they are missing shots and not playing d fails to recognize that w/o structure and a confidence a young team will fail…these guys can’t play disjointed rotations and reactionary ball as pw asks for…they are too young…maybe a veteran squad can thrive with such freedom…this team can’t and it needs roles, set minutes and repetitive patterns so they can gain comfort and confidence…w/o that we will barely win 15…with that we win 25-30 and we are working back to relevance…if pw can’t see that he must go
CK40 - January 5, 2012 via mobile
totally agree with this post
PW needs to “adjust” just as much as he’s asking his team to. I just don’t know if that will/can happen. Unfortunately. Congrats & Good Luck Mr. Smart, certainly here’s your chance to look it!
Sirstan51 - January 5, 2012
Would any of you trade Reke for a PROVEN true PG or Big Man? If so, who?
Let’s understand a few things here… NO NEW COACH IS TURNING THIS SEASON/TEAM AROUND AS IT IS. #2, We can’t trade DMC and get the value for him, but Treke hasn’t blown his (yet). I think the floor/team chemistry (or lack there of) is poor because we don’t have a floor “general” or dominant center that’s a proven winner. Admit it, Beno did better last few years running the offense and the team.
I wouldn’t mind a Westbrook/Evans deal at all right now (even if it meant a draft pick). Not sure what center a team would be willing to give up for Evans (other than Howard, and not sure if that would work for long term).
Sirstan51 - January 5, 2012
we should have
Resigned dally. him and cousins played real well together late last year in the key. The loofs should have ponied up the dough and kept dally. He had a leader presense and a personality that meshed w cousins.
Bendacorna - January 5, 2012 via mobile
Exactly
Well said
Ninja King - January 5, 2012
Yay free throw shooting!
getPGwithbounce - January 5, 2012
I gave it some thought & I personally can't blame everything on Westphal.
As far as we know, it wasn’t his decision to sign a 6’6" center over re-signing Dalembert who played solid for us last year and meshed nice with Cousins, and it wasn’t his decision to draft Jimmer Fredette over a real point guard like Kemba Walker. Other than Isaiah Thomas, this team has no point guard, and other than Hassan Whiteside who is now in Reno, this team has no true center. How can a team succeed when it lacks those 2 needs?? Any coach of this roster would be having the same issues this team is having.
Ninja King - January 5, 2012
I like Dally
but let’s not pretend he meshed nice. I get the whole preferring a big man who can contest shots thing, but it’s not like our interior defense was all that good last year either.
wallywagon11 - January 5, 2012
at least we were able to see a good block now and again
A good swat of the ball can give a team a solid boost mentally. I like blocks, that aren’t cells. He blocked shots on a consistent basis. We didn’t get thornton soon enough to see just how good we could be. If we had signed dally for some decent money and for a few years culdnt we have seen and then traded at a later time if need be so we could have seen the possibilities. Basketball goalies. He’s an original. After these games we’ve seen it seems very clear we now need him or someone w a similar game.
Bendacorna - January 5, 2012 via mobile

If your not willing to pay out for a top tier coach this is what you get: a coach with an out-dated system and no motivation tactics. A lot of the improved play we saw at the end of last year is just not there anymore. You can see it in the player’s body language which is depressing. After the team got down by 10 it was almost like they said “here we go again” and started hanging their heads and playing solely for stats.
I don’t care who the new coach is they just need to be able to restore confidence in the players and motivate them. The Maloofs need to man up and get a proven coach or get out of town. This could get really ugly before it gets better.

Do we need to mention that Milwaukee wil be without Bogut tonight too?
I’d see he’s their best player right now…Jennings is good but he’s pretty inefficient. Does this mean we’re going to get torn up by Drew Gooden and Ersan Ilyasova? Too early?

Nope
I guess teams see us as a break in the schedule to rest their stars. Can’t say I blame them.
