He has more upside and is more skilled offensively. Again the reason tyreke doesn’t get the recognition is because his jumpshot is extremely inconsistent. He misses way too much thus making him not seem that great. I’m not blinded by the misses though as I see his potential and I see his true skill. He has talents westbrook doesn’t have. Of course on the other hand westbrook likewise is better at certain things as well but overall I can’t say westbrook is better.
Jimmer hit that high off the glass. I think he’s shown enough for me to believe he really is as good a scorer as advertised. Just needs to adjust to the NBA.
But in order for that to happen he needs to start moving off the ball more. I desperately hope the Kings grab Ray Allen to teach these guys how to move around without the ball.
Where the coach just passes them air until they can coordinate without a ball. It’d be cheesy and would sure elicit some odd reactions, but anything to make them stop standing around.

This team gives most teams in the league fits on defense so it isn’t like we are in the minority in that regard. Winning is a process. I see much better play from the Kings and that is encouraging even though it may not show up in the win column.
Kings heyday the black road jersey was very popular. They brought it back this season. Since it’s so popular, they made it the home jersey for the Kings today, then all the fans decide to go black to show support.

He belongs on the court more. Ahead of Cisco, Outlaw obviously, and more of Salmons minutes. I am not so sure Donte shouldn’t be starting. Salmons was ineffective, again. He made one nice pass going out of bounds to Marcus for the ‘3’, but Salmons was pretty sorry most of the night.
When Salmons gets the ball, he cannot create for himself or anyone else 8 out of 10 times. (Scientific fact.)
The only criticism I have of Coach Smart is he has stayed way too long with Salmons and buried Donte. Only lately is he seeing the light. Donte has the most raw talent of our wing players. He seems like he can turn a corner and become an NBA player if he got steady PT. I ’d like to see Donte get 20 to 25 minute a game.
Donte had more production in 16 minutes than Salmons did in 36. One last point to be fair to Salmons: He did a good job on Harden in the 4th quarter, which is where he belongs, defending 2s, not 3s.

Dude tyreke has better decision making skills
He has more upside and is more skilled offensively. Again the reason tyreke doesn’t get the recognition is because his jumpshot is extremely inconsistent. He misses way too much thus making him not seem that great. I’m not blinded by the misses though as I see his potential and I see his true skill. He has talents westbrook doesn’t have. Of course on the other hand westbrook likewise is better at certain things as well but overall I can’t say westbrook is better.

This team gives most teams in the league fits on defense so it isn’t like we are in the minority in that regard. Winning is a process. I see much better play from the Kings and that is encouraging even though it may not show up in the win column.

So many positives from that game.
Donte, Hayes , IT and Jimmer all played well. Fans were loud, despite the fact that TNT thought the arena plan was voted down. Jason Thompson played well too, he plays well just about every night but sometimes due to the flow of the game he can’t get in during the 4th quarter.

how sorry they felt and wondering where Sacramento was going to go after the latest poll was “rejected”…
they didnt know the full details… the main part being, the poll getting “rejected” was a good thing.
Cherryl Miller even asked Kevin Johnson, “After getting the recent poll rejected, where do you go from here?”
KJ kind of paused…lol…and then said “No, No, it didnt get rejected, were very close, we WILL get this done.”
So basically, nothing to worry about, TNT misinformed.

they all took it as a negative, as would any rational person from the outside.
they didn’t quite understand what the proposal meant. kj talked to webber at halftime, saying that was a good thing, but he wasn’t buying it

All the TNT announcers
including Webber, Reggie Miller, his sister, and the 4 knuckleheads back at the TNT headquarters at halftime kept confusing the Sac ESC plan being voted down as a bad thing.

No, the vote was to put the arena on the June ballot
So the 5-4 was against it, therefore that plan failed, but it was victorious in our part

6’11’ with quickness to stay 2-3. He should have all of Garcia and Outlaw’s minutes and some of Thorntons.

My point is, we NEED his offense. We can’t win without it 8 times out of 10 if he doesn’t bring it…so we cant afford to give him a portion of thorntons minutes…
Outlaw + Garcia.. okay…but Thornton needs his minutes because WE need him.

I agree to some extent
but I think if MT23 was eventually replaced with IT… IT has proved he can make open shots, play D against any guard, and not force too many shots when compared to Marcus. I think it is still too early to yank MT23’s spot but he really needs to find his shot here soon.

Donte is closer to 6'9.5 but I agree
He belongs on the court more. Ahead of Cisco, Outlaw obviously, and more of Salmons minutes. I am not so sure Donte shouldn’t be starting. Salmons was ineffective, again. He made one nice pass going out of bounds to Marcus for the ‘3’, but Salmons was pretty sorry most of the night.
When Salmons gets the ball, he cannot create for himself or anyone else 8 out of 10 times. (Scientific fact.)
The only criticism I have of Coach Smart is he has stayed way too long with Salmons and buried Donte. Only lately is he seeing the light. Donte has the most raw talent of our wing players. He seems like he can turn a corner and become an NBA player if he got steady PT. I ’d like to see Donte get 20 to 25 minute a game.
Donte had more production in 16 minutes than Salmons did in 36. One last point to be fair to Salmons: He did a good job on Harden in the 4th quarter, which is where he belongs, defending 2s, not 3s.
