I can easily say I think us Kings fans are LOUDER or just as LOUD in our HOMES…. than people(fans of other teams) who go to the actual Arenas and watch the game …
Debbie Downer.
If anything is possible, then imagine something wonderful.
Maybe that collision knocked the passenger out of a coma and he went home that night and saw his child for the first time.
I know about his gymnast background, but his onscreen persona makes him the least likely candidate to dance around like a complete asshole in TWO movies. I love it.
…And they’re a far cry from what I prefer as an adult. I’m not sure what movie that this is taken from, but I’d like to think he kicked the crap out of everyone in the park for making fun of his gear right after the gif stops.
He has an even worse dance number in one of his other flicks, but I can’t remember which one. I think it may be the one with the massive Chinese man who flexes his boobs a lot, and broken glass glued to fists may be involved.
Got back home from the game tonight. It was amazing.
I fully expected to have a great time, but the team actually winning – that was a pleasant surprise. I can’t wait to watch what I taped and hear all the things TNT had to say about our great team.
No they didn’t have nice things to say. What they said is OKC fell asleep or bad teams like the Kings can occasionally get up to play on a nationally televised game.
Than C-Webb, Reggie and TNT screwed up the whole arena thing. Basically told the audience the Kings lost the vote this week and it appears the team isn’t staying in town.
I didn’t expect the studio guys to say nice things about the team but what made me furious was that Reggie, C-Webb and Harlan had no idea about the dynamics of the arena situation and made it seem like the team is already gone. They thought KJ was lying about the vote passing this week and one of them said it would be a miracle if the Kings stay. I don’t expect Reggie or his ugly sister to have any knowledge of Sacramento, but C-Webb should know better.
nationalities dont bother, the only thing that matters is: are you a good person or a bad person. thats the only important thing for me. not anyones origins.
I mean really, C-Webb couldn't bother to do a little research into the whole arena deal and the recent vote?
Guess you can’t really teach an old dog new tricks. He should not try and be a media guy if he can’t check out facts first. And this is a low shot at him from me, because I love the guy. When they were having the blackout jersey sales, I made a custom Webber one.
But really, C-Webb, I felt ashamed to be wearing that jersey you put on.
Seeing Webber get his black jersey at the game was one of the best highlights for me. I cannot believe he didn’t know anything about the arena. I thought he was one of the guys working behind the scenes to get it done?!? I am very confused.
Made it when they were having that sale. I love the guy! But I was so let down as to how he didn’t know that the recent proposal rejection was a good thing!
And I loved him getting that jersey too! I could tell how much he loves this team. Maybe he just has had alot on his plate recently and didn’t see the details of the plan…but still.
Is that someone just gave him the wrong news and he went with it without doing the research on his own. Tonight was a huge success here in Sac, but it sounds like we failed in delivering our message to everyone else. That is unfortunate.
it wasn’t because of the noise in the arena… the crowd was awesome and did the city and the fanbase proud. So did the team. It was just those airhead commentators. I love Webb, but dammit, be ready (it was a huge night, afterall).
Honestly, the Sandy Sheedy proposal failure shouldn't have made it on air.
It’s such a confusing dynamic to explain.
I mean, how do you explain on air with such little time that we needed the proposal to put the parking lot financing to a public vote, to fail, just so the team is able to meet with the NBA before the actual Arena deadline passes?
I was left shaking my head when Cheryl brought it up because I knew she would goof it all up. In all seriousness, do your research. If you’re going to report something, get your facts straight. If you don’t have the time to explain it sufficiently well, don’t do it at all. It did more harm than good because she just confused everyone with no clue about what’s going on. That goes for Harlan, Miller, and Webb as well. An outsider would have left the telecast thinking: Sacramento’s situation is bleaker and bleaker all the time.
I don't know what happened there, but I did see the commentary.
Certainly when they diminish the credibility of Major Johnson, by coming very close to calling him a liar, characterizing Johnson’s clarification of the vote to Cheryl as political spin, that was just wrong.
I know Peaches gets his fair share around here but he is good at what he does. National guys piss me off because they just don’t know each team as well as local commentators or even average fans. Tonight, they kept saying how DMC needs to to the little things like hustle, screens, and charges. When DMC took a couple of charges they acted like he had never done it before. I would be money that none of the three knew that DMC leads the league in charges.
We give Peaches grief, but all in all, when it comes to commentating, he knows his stuff.
I was hating on Walton earlier, so let me clarify – I think he’s better announcing on TV, with Grant, or someone else, whomever. The point being that you can watch what’s going on on the screen, so he can blather inanities all over until kingdom come.
On radio, people want to listen to G-Man, because he has such an amazing talent and knack for illustrating beautifully every step, move, and motion of a player up and down the court. It’s like watching someone try and paint the Mona Lisa and get constantly interrupted by someone talking about the history of art while they’re doing it.
I pull my hair out when he is on TV with Jerry or Grant. There is only one place for Bill Walton, home, in the comfort of his living room, talking to the wall.
Unfortunately, the [redacted] and the Celtics went into overtime, so at home we missed the tip even. We basically came in when Tyreke stole the ball and drove for a layup to make it 6-0 to start. I’d love to see a pic of that.

No they didn’t have nice things to say. What they said is OKC fell asleep or bad teams like the Kings can occasionally get up to play on a nationally televised game.
Than C-Webb, Reggie and TNT screwed up the whole arena thing. Basically told the audience the Kings lost the vote this week and it appears the team isn’t staying in town.
bignerd - February 10, 2012

Slam_Dunk - February 10, 2012

kangsfan - February 10, 2012
So angry
I didn’t expect the studio guys to say nice things about the team but what made me furious was that Reggie, C-Webb and Harlan had no idea about the dynamics of the arena situation and made it seem like the team is already gone. They thought KJ was lying about the vote passing this week and one of them said it would be a miracle if the Kings stay. I don’t expect Reggie or his ugly sister to have any knowledge of Sacramento, but C-Webb should know better.
youknowit100 - February 10, 2012
It's not like the mayor could correct them.
Coming out and saying how thankful you were that the residents of Sacramento will not get to vote on the parking lot proposal is not exactly good PR.

Schnuppermeister - February 10, 2012
we should all pull for eachother
peace and love and stuff
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
yeah, thats right
nationalities dont bother, the only thing that matters is: are you a good person or a bad person. thats the only important thing for me. not anyones origins.
Schnuppermeister - February 10, 2012
agreed
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
I am only kidding
Kim Jong once golfed a 27 in 18 holes.
bignerd - February 10, 2012
Until I see video footage to prove that
I´ll consider it propaganda
rubenho - February 10, 2012
I mean really, C-Webb couldn't bother to do a little research into the whole arena deal and the recent vote?
Guess you can’t really teach an old dog new tricks. He should not try and be a media guy if he can’t check out facts first. And this is a low shot at him from me, because I love the guy. When they were having the blackout jersey sales, I made a custom Webber one.
But really, C-Webb, I felt ashamed to be wearing that jersey you put on.
HarveySpecter - February 10, 2012
man I dont like reading this
Seeing Webber get his black jersey at the game was one of the best highlights for me. I cannot believe he didn’t know anything about the arena. I thought he was one of the guys working behind the scenes to get it done?!? I am very confused.
Kingsfan916 - February 10, 2012
I know. I own that jersey he put on!
HarveySpecter - February 10, 2012
It sucked
because he was the one that said something about it being a miracle if the team stays. I thought “et tu, C-webb”
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
Or as they say in Latin,
et tu, Webbe?
HarveySpecter - February 10, 2012
that's it... lol
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
the only thing that makes sense
Is that someone just gave him the wrong news and he went with it without doing the research on his own. Tonight was a huge success here in Sac, but it sounds like we failed in delivering our message to everyone else. That is unfortunate.
Kingsfan916 - February 10, 2012
If it sounded like a fail
it wasn’t because of the noise in the arena… the crowd was awesome and did the city and the fanbase proud. So did the team. It was just those airhead commentators. I love Webb, but dammit, be ready (it was a huge night, afterall).
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
AoxomoxoA - February 10, 2012
Honestly, the Sandy Sheedy proposal failure shouldn't have made it on air.
It’s such a confusing dynamic to explain.
I mean, how do you explain on air with such little time that we needed the proposal to put the parking lot financing to a public vote, to fail, just so the team is able to meet with the NBA before the actual Arena deadline passes?
Hell I’m confusing myself trying to explain it.
Ricardo Audain - February 10, 2012
Just mention it was a proposal to try to delay the funding
Which with it not passing would be a good thing.
LOUiECOG - February 10, 2012
It was disappointing
I was left shaking my head when Cheryl brought it up because I knew she would goof it all up. In all seriousness, do your research. If you’re going to report something, get your facts straight. If you don’t have the time to explain it sufficiently well, don’t do it at all. It did more harm than good because she just confused everyone with no clue about what’s going on. That goes for Harlan, Miller, and Webb as well. An outsider would have left the telecast thinking: Sacramento’s situation is bleaker and bleaker all the time.
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
well said
youknowit100 - February 10, 2012
Thanks
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
Well said, but I have been thinking through all this that perhaps there is more to the story that we don't know about.
Perhaps there were were some sources, who passed along some bad news. There could be more going on behind the scenes.
By the way, where were the Maloofs? I didn’t see them there. Did I miss something?
Slam_Dunk - February 10, 2012
I saw one of them next to the TNT table, and Carmichael Dave said the other one was there too, but he didn't see him
When the one sitting next to the TNT table came out though, he gave C-Webb a hug before sitting down.
ina_118 - February 10, 2012
I don't know what happened there, but I did see the commentary.
Certainly when they diminish the credibility of Major Johnson, by coming very close to calling him a liar, characterizing Johnson’s clarification of the vote to Cheryl as political spin, that was just wrong.
Slam_Dunk - February 10, 2012
Oh, you were talking about the Maloofs. Yeah, I did see them on TNT.
Usually, I hear Gavin’s whistle, but it was so loud last night, that I didn’t hear him.
Slam_Dunk - February 10, 2012
Props to the bench...
…and JT’s dunks….and props to Salmon’s defense.
getPGwithbounce - February 10, 2012
they did well
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
Props to Donte's defense and his drive to give Ibaka his 6th foul.
LOUiECOG - February 10, 2012
TNT really makes me thankful for Jerry and Peaches
I was shocked at how disappointing the entire crew was tonight.
rmgordon4 - February 10, 2012
true dat.
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
Yep
I know Peaches gets his fair share around here but he is good at what he does. National guys piss me off because they just don’t know each team as well as local commentators or even average fans. Tonight, they kept saying how DMC needs to to the little things like hustle, screens, and charges. When DMC took a couple of charges they acted like he had never done it before. I would be money that none of the three knew that DMC leads the league in charges.
youknowit100 - February 10, 2012
absolutely
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
Yeah.
My only opinion on the matter :).
HarveySpecter - February 10, 2012
No, no, no...
I pull my hair out when he is on TV with Jerry or Grant. There is only one place for Bill Walton, home, in the comfort of his living room, talking to the wall.
Slam_Dunk - February 10, 2012
Agree. He isn't on their radar because:
1. They already have some preconceived ideas about him.
2. The Sacramento Kings are near the bottom of the teams as far as wins.
Slam_Dunk - February 10, 2012
HarveySpecter - February 10, 2012
I always said shaq was too fat to to make it down the court without collapsing
sometimes we are mistaken and just have to accept that.
rmgordon4 - February 10, 2012
omg my boyfriend would not stop calling the night LEGENDARY (we've been on a HIMYM kick lately)
ina_118 - February 10, 2012
Did anyone take a picture of the arena when it was lit with just glowsticks?
PurpleHurts - February 10, 2012
I wish I could've seen that.
Unfortunately, the [redacted] and the Celtics went into overtime, so at home we missed the tip even. We basically came in when Tyreke stole the ball and drove for a layup to make it 6-0 to start. I’d love to see a pic of that.
LOUiECOG - February 10, 2012
Yeah,
I saw the lame posession the Celtics had at the end and thought, “the first game would go to OT tonight, jeez.”
unparde_7 - February 10, 2012
Bee
chenp22 - February 10, 2012

Schnuppermeister - February 10, 2012
Oh, I have to go buy a copy. This is amazing.

It's on their website.

This is how I feel about the TNT crew this morning
With a side of this for Shaq specifically:
